Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the Jocatoryorixni knowledge centre. To ensure a transparent and efficient collaboration, we have compiled a comprehensive list of answers to the most common enquiries we receive from our clients. Whether you are a startup in Melbourne CBD or an established B2B agency, understanding our operational framework helps in streamlining the production of high-quality editorial content.

Our editorial process is built on precision, professional ethics, and a strict adherence to the timelines specified in our service agreements. If you cannot find the answer to your specific question below, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via our contact page.

Ordering and Briefing

How do I start a project with Jocatoryorixni?

The process begins with a formal enquiry via our contact form. Once we establish the scope of work, we provide a detailed quote. To initiate the project, we require a signed agreement and a deposit of 50% of the total project value. Following the payment, we request a comprehensive brief. If you are unsure how to structure this, we recommend reading our guide on how to write a brief for your author.

What information should be included in the brief?

A professional brief should include the target audience, the primary objective of the text, key messages that must be conveyed, preferred tone of voice, and any specific constraints or mandatory inclusions. For corporate stories, we also require a list of interviewees and their availability. The more precise the brief, the more accurate the first draft will be.

Do you handle the research phase independently?

Our editors conduct secondary research to understand your industry (specifically within Tech, Lifestyle, and B2B). However, for proprietary information, internal company culture, or specific corporate achievements, we rely on the data provided in the brief or gathered during interviews with your team members.

Can I request a custom package if the standard services don't fit?

Yes, we frequently organise bespoke editorial packages for long-term partners. These may include a combination of monthly blog management, press release distribution, and periodic website audits. Please contact Amelia Robinson, our Managing Director, to discuss a tailored strategy.

Timelines and Delivery

What is the average turnaround time for an article?

Our average article delivery time is 5 days from the moment all necessary briefing materials and interview transcripts are received. This allows our editorial team to research, draft, and perform an initial internal quality check before the text reaches you.

What happens if I need the content urgently?

We can accommodate urgent requests depending on our current capacity. Please note that urgent orders are subject to an additional fee of 30% of the total cost. We define "urgent" as any delivery required in less than half of our standard turnaround time.

How is the final content delivered?

All deliverables are provided in professional digital formats, typically via Google Docs or DOCX. This ensures you have a version with "Track Changes" enabled for the review process. We also provide suggested headlines and meta-descriptions for web-based content to ensure it is ready for publication.

What is your response time for enquiries?

We value prompt communication. Our team aims to respond to all initial enquiries and project-related emails within 24 hours during our business hours (Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEDT).

Revisions and Quality Control

How many rounds of revisions are included in the price?

Every project includes 2 rounds of revisions. A "round" is defined as a consolidated list of feedback and requested changes sent to us after a draft delivery. This ensures the text is polished and perfectly aligned with your vision without endless iterations.

What happens if I need more than two rounds of edits?

Additional revisions beyond the included two rounds are billed at our professional editing rate per hour. We strive to avoid this by ensuring the initial briefing phase is thorough and the communication is clear.

What if the content does not meet the original brief?

If a draft deviates from the agreed-upon brief, we will correct it free of charge. We recommend reviewing the draft against the brief immediately upon receipt to ensure any structural misalignments are addressed promptly.

Do you provide proofreading for existing texts?

Yes, we offer professional editorial and proofreading services. This includes correcting grammar, syntax, and punctuation, as well as improving flow and readability. This is billed per hour and is detailed in our services section.

Copyright and Confidentiality

Who owns the copyright to the final text?

Exclusive rights to the final text are transferred to the client immediately upon full payment of the project invoice. Until the balance is settled, the copyright remains with Jocatoryorixni Pty Ltd. This policy is detailed in our Terms and Conditions.

How do you handle confidential company information?

We treat all client data with strict confidentiality. Any non-public information shared during the briefing or interview process is protected and not disclosed to third parties. For a detailed explanation of how we process your data, please visit our Privacy Policy.

What happens to my drafts after the project is completed?

We maintain a secure archive of project drafts and final versions for 6 months. This allows us to assist you if you accidentally lose your files. After 6 months, drafts are permanently deleted from our systems to ensure data minimisation.

Do you require consent for interviews?

Yes. For any corporate stories or interviews, we require the explicit consent of the individuals being interviewed for the publication of their words and image. We provide a standard consent form that your team must sign before the interview takes place.

Payment and Billing

What are your payment terms for B2B clients?

For established B2B partnerships, we offer a payment term of 14 days from the date of the final invoice. The initial 50% deposit remains mandatory for all new projects to secure the editorial slot in our calendar.

How is GST handled in your pricing?

All prices listed on our website are inclusive of GST (10%). We provide a full tax invoice for every transaction, showing the amount ex GST and the GST component separately for your accounting purposes.

What happens if I cancel a project after the brief is submitted?

If a project is cancelled after the briefing phase has commenced, the initial deposit is retained to cover the time spent on research and planning. If the cancellation occurs before any work has started, the deposit may be refunded minus a small administrative fee.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept electronic fund transfers (EFT) to our business account. Bank details are provided on the official invoice sent to your registered email address.
